Camp Teranga: A Summer of Culture, Creativity, and Discovery

Camp Teranga, in partnership with Saint Paul Public Schools, Saint Paul Parks & Recreation, & Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood provides a vibrant, culturally rooted environment where young people (Grades 1 - 4) can explore their identity and develop leadership skills during the summer months. As part of our long-standing commitment to youth development, this program is offered entirely free of charge; ensuring equitable access to the arts and sciences.

Camp Teranga Offers:

Cultural Immersion: deeply rooted in African Diaspora traditions, offering workshops in disciplines like West African drumming & dance.

STEM Integration: We blend cultural arts with modern technology, including hands-on Virtual Reality (VR) & 3D design

Holistic Growth: Activities range from artistic expression to gardening, fostering a connection to both the community and the environment.

Community Centered: A safe, supportive space for youth to develop their voices and talents.
